What Are the IECEx CoPC Ex Units?
The IECEx CoPC Ex Units define the competencies required for personnel working safely in hazardous areas. These units cover key functions such as design, installation, inspection, maintenance, and management of equipment in explosive atmospheres. Each unit focuses on a specific area of competency and forms part of the internationally recognised IECEx Certification of Personnel Competence Scheme.
IECEx CoPC Examination Services
As an IECEx Certification Body (CB), we provide independent, third-party assessment of candidates against the IECEx Units of Competence. Our role is to assess candidate knowledge and practical competency, conduct formal examinations in accordance with IECEx requirements, ensure candidates meet the required competency standards, and issue IECEx Certificates of Personnel Competence to successful candidates. We maintain strict independence and impartiality throughout the assessment and certification process, ensuring all certifications are credible, consistent, and internationally recognised.
